Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?

I'm British but now based in France. All sessions take place via Zoom or Skype so we can work together, wherever you may be, as long as you have an internet connection. I have clients all over the world.

How does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis is based on neuroscience. It’s a perfectly natural brain state in between full waking consciousness in which your brain is in a beta state, and sleep in which your brain is in a delta state. During hypnosis your brain is producing alpha or theta brainwaves, just like during mediation. In this state we can access your subconscious mind to gain insight into your life experience.

Can anyone be hypnotized?

Yes, anyone can be hypnotized. Only around 10% of people are highly suggestible, but this is a method that works for everyone.

What does hypnosis feel like?

It feels very relaxing and peaceful, much like meditation. When reviewing scenes from your past, it is possible to experience some emotions resurfacing. You will be in a very safe space where you are completely free to release any emotions that may come up. I will be there with you throughout the process to reassure you. I will remind you that you are safe and that you cannot relive scenes from your past, only review them as an observer. Your subconscious mind will not bring up anything that you are not willing or able to deal with.

Am I in control?

Yes, you are always in control. I can’t make you do anything your subconscious mind doesn’t recognize as being good for you. It is very important to me that you feel safe throughout the process and that you know that you are always in control.

Will I remember anything after the session?

Yes, you will remember everything. I absolutely want you to remember everything about the session so that you gain maximum insight and have the best possible experience.

How long does an RTT session last?

The whole session lasts 90 minutes to 2 hours. I do ask you to block out 2 hours so that we have plenty of time and are not rushed. Ideally it’s preferably if you don’t have anything too demanding to do in the hours following the session as you could feel a little tired and are likely to want to relax and take it easy.

What is included in an RTT session?

The session includes

  • 20 mins intake call prior to the session

  • 90 mins RTT session

  • A personalized 15-20 mins recording of my voice that you need to listen to for 21 days to permanently wire in the changes

  • 15 mins follow up call 7-10 days after the session

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the presenting issue(s). For something like stopping smoking or procrastination, one session would be enough. Very often one session is enough, but it is possible you may want a second or third session for more complex issues. After the first session I will be able to advise if I think you could benefit from a further session. My objective is to help you gain the transformation you desire with as few sessions as possible.
It is extremely rare to need more than three sessions.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No, it is impossible to get stuck in hypnosis. You would come around in your own time after a short while if you were left alone, which you absolutely never will be. I will always be right there to ensure everything goes well. If ever we were to lose internet connection for example, after a minute or two of not hearing my voice you would open your eyes naturally, or you may fall asleep if very relaxed and wake up a short while later. If that should happen I will have a phone number for you and we will re-connect immediately via telephone.

What if I already know the root cause of the issues I’m experiencing?

That could help us, but you may be surprised at the scenes that your subconscious mind brings up and gain brand new insight into the issue. These new insights, combined with listening to the recording to wire-in changes permanently, are what enable lasting life-changing shifts to occur.

When will I start to see changes?

It is possible to see changes immediately, but having said that, not everybody responds in the same way. Here are the three types of change you can experience following Rapid Transformational Therapy:

1/ Immediate: Right after the session, you may immediately notice a difference in the way you feel. You may feel lighter, more confident, happier.

2/ Incremental: You might feel a little difference right after the session, but the major changes become felt in the days, weeks and months following the session as you continue to listen to your recording.

3/ Retroactive: You don’t really notice the changes happening, but when you look back several months later, you’ll realise how far you’ve come and how much has changed for you in the way you think, feel and behave.
